Regenerative Elevator Drives - Energo

Optimize Energy Consumption With Regenerative Elevator Drives

Regenerative elevator drives are designed to optimize the energy consumption of elevators. These drives employ regenerative braking systems that convert the kinetic energy produced during the elevator’s descent or deceleration into electrical energy. Instead of dissipating this energy as heat, regenerative drives store it in a dedicated energy storage system or feed it back into the building’s electrical grid for other uses.

What Are the Benefits of a Regenerative Elevator Drive?

By harnessing and reusing this otherwise wasted energy, customers can significantly reduce the overall energy consumption of their elevator systems. This leads to lower electricity bills, reduced strain on the building’s power supply, and a smaller carbon footprint. The use of regenerative elevator drives aligns with sustainability goals by promoting energy efficiency and resource conservation.
