Incorporated in 1968, PEACE, Inc. is a non-profit community-based organization with the mission of helping people realize their potential for becoming self-sufficient.

THE BACK STORY

PEACE, Inc. believes in the strength of the human spirit and is dedicated to changing lives by teaching people how to help themselves and support those around them. For over 50 years, they have worked tirelessly to provide a continuum of critical services for the entire family, from infants to the elderly. The majority of individuals they serve have incomes placing them at or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

MORE ON ENERGY, LESS ON PROGRAMS AND PEOPLE

Profits can be even more critical in the non-profit sector. Sadly, PEACE, Inc. was being served by the local utility for its natural gas and electricity, going back decades. They’d been using valuable dollars to overspend on energy needs, rather than investing money and resources in the most undeniably vital community programs and people. Fortunately, that’s all behind them now.

MORE PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITIES, THANKS TO ENERGO ENERGY

After a full analysis of the historical energy usage and spend, a Energo Advisor developed a balanced fixed energy plan for PEACE, Inc. that locked in both electricity and natural gas supply costs.

Like many organizations, we’re constantly exploring ways to reduce internal costs and increase our impact on others. Our Energo Advisor blew my mind. I really had no idea how much money we could save by changing providers or by bundling and fixing energy expenses.” – Kathleen O’Brien, CFO
