The first Mirbeau Inn & Spa opened in the year 2000 and was inspired in part by the soft light, warm colors and introspective character found in the paintings of renowned French Impressionist, Claude Monet.
THE BACK STORY
In the mid 1990’s, Linda and Gary Dower noticed that most American hotels had very little to do with “hospitality,” and were simply convenient and predictable places for travelers to sleep at night as they passed through. So, the couple decided to create an unrivaled get-a-way destination that afforded people like themselves a place to experience a truly unique escape.
OVERPAYING FOR ENERGY IS NOT RELAXING AT ALL
Mirbeau Inn & Spa was overpaying the local utility for their electricity and natural gas. After working to establish trust and integrity, their Energo Advisor ultimately lead a discovery focused on their pain points, helping to analyze the amount of natural gas being used in their kitchens and laundry operations, as well as the electrical implications of seasonal temperature variations and subsequent market fluctuations.
LEAVE THE LIGHT ON FOR YOUR ENERGO ADVISOR.
After many in-person meetings and a comprehensive look at their energy usage, a Energo Advisor developed a plan for Mirbeau that supported budget stability and predictability.
“As much as we appreciate colorful impressionistic works of art, being able to look at our energy costs in a very black and white manner has allowed us to make thoughtful choices about how we spend and budget. We’re grateful to the Energo team for helping to paint an entirely new picture.” – Gary Dower, Founder
